Jura Membrane Regulator Hairpin Style with O-Ring

The membrane regulator with O-ring is for hair pin connection.  Includes one o-ring for pump outlet connection (bigger of the two) and one for PTFE tube connection.  Lubricate the o-rings before installation using only the NSF approved food grade lube for smooth insertion and proper sealing to avoid any leakage.

It regulates the water flow in Jura espresso machines.  Without this pressure equalizer, the pump will be noisier and not regulate required pressure.   This part leaks frequently and therefore is the most frequently replaced item in Jura espresso machines. It connects to the Invensys pump with 1/8" threaded connector. The connection to the outlet tube is different for PTFE tube (with hairpin lock) . The new models use re-enforced silicone hose  which connects with a clamp.  CLICK HEREto see details of clamp connection.

We see extensive Calcium deposits in almost every machine we open for repairs at our workshop.            Calcium deposits inside the machine cause the following problems:

(1) reduces flow of water with partial or total clogging

(2) Calcium deposits generate back pressure causing internal leaks

(3)reduce pump pressure, reduce flow of coffee, water for coffee collects in drain tray

(4) play error codes 4, 8, "Fill water" will be displayed, causing machine shut down & force expensive repairs.

We recommend De-activating use of Filter and Descaling reminders in the programming.

Descaling is best done manually every two or three months. Order Best descaler (#DSC-6) from our online store and follow authentic descaling process.
