Jura water filters are expensive & ineffective. We see extensive Calcium deposits in almost every machine we open for repairs at our workshop. The Brita filter installed on the water faucet works better than expensive Jura filters. Calcium sediment accumulates in the hydraulic system not covered by electronic descaling.  Electronic descaling with Jura descaling tablets is incomplete & preventative only. Use of Filter & descaling reminders can be deactivated it in the programming.  It reduces flow of water, causing internal leaks, malfunctions when coffee will dispense less, water will fill drip pan fast, coffee will not be made and water drain in drip tray & display error codes like "Fill water"; "Ventilate" ending up in expensive repairs.

Complete descaling is done by manually flushing the machine every two or three months. Order Best descaler (#DSC-6) from our online store and follow authentic descaling process.
