Jura water filters are expensive & ineffective. We see extensive Calcium deposits in almost every machine we open for repairs at our workshop. The Brita filter installed on the water faucet works better than expensive Jura filters. Calcium sediment accumulates in the hydraulic system not covered by electronic descaling.  Electronic descaling with Jura descaling tablets is incomplete & preventative only. Use of Filter & descaling reminders can be deactivated in the programming.  Calcium deposits reduce flow of water, generate back pressure causing internal leaks & other malfunctions & display error codes 4, error 8, "Fill water", resulting in expensive repairs.

Complete descaling is done by manually flushing the machine every two or three months. Order Best descaler (#DSC-6) from our online store and follow authentic descaling process.
